Sous Chef – Monday To Friday
I am seeking a Sous chef to work with a great Head Chef to oversee a Hospitality fine dining and staff feeding within this B&I site in the heart of the city as well looking after fine dining & hospitality. You will be in charge of producing the food in the café whilst producing menu’s with the head chef.This sous would ideally have experience within the contract catering and fine dining restaurant experience who is confident to work alone with the support of a great Head Chef. This Sous will be involved in producing modern high street food including, Salads, grab and go and street food.
The desired candidate for this role would ideally have the following profile and experience:
·Confident junior sous or confident sous who can run all sections and confident to work on their own.
·You will need hospitality experience – to run hospitality
·Many of the dishes produced are modern high street food as well as grab and go and street food.
·You will be involved in producing bespoke menu’s with the head chef and GM
·You will support and work with the more junior members of the team and working with them to manage rotas
·Monday to Friday
·Good food hygiene practices and due diligence is knowledge and experience is key
·You will want to deliver quality food with style and flair
·Providing great customer service to customers within every event or function to a consistent standard
·Strong team player
·Strong leader who can lead by example
·Able to communicate at all levels
·Good IT Skills & MS office
·Certified in H&S Level 2 and food safety level
